Ask Your Assistant
Connect an AI assistant to Rising Tide so it can answer from these docs and our films and show you what is happening in the apps, with a link to everything.
Rising Tide has a guide your AI assistant can connect to. Once it is connected, you can ask your assistant about Rising Tide in your own words, and it answers from these docs, from our films and from the apps themselves, with a link to every page, film and piece of work it mentions.
It answers as Arty, the voice of our Draw It Out whiteboard films: short, plain and to the point. When one of his films explains what you asked, it gives you the link to the moment he says it.
What you can ask
- How does earning work? What does it cost to publish?
- Is there a video that explains how a split works?
- How many pages were published today? What is the most collected thing this week?
- Show me what is new from the people I collect.
- What is the most collected bottle this week?
- Who has collected my work? What have I earned?
- Which app is right for what I want to make?
- Is there a Drop Four game I can join? How is lobby 8 going?
- What events are coming up? Which causes can I support?
- What did people reply to my bottle?
- Help me write a haiku about low tide, and put it on grammata.
- Help me write a letter to the Rising Tide Feedback campaign.
For anything about you, your assistant asks for your profile link, your address or the name on your profile. Everything it reads is already public, so you do not sign in. It never looks anyone up by email or by X handle.
What you see in the chat
In assistants that can show small cards beside an answer, Claude among them, on the web, the desktop app and phones, Arty puts things right in the conversation:
- A film plays in the chat, starting at the moment that answers you, with its chapters and captions. In dark mode, the Draw It Out whiteboard turns dark too.
- A page, a bottle or a letter shows its picture, who made it, how many have been collected and what a copy costs, with a button to keep a copy in its app.
- A shelf of them, when you ask what is new, what is popular or what someone has collected. Tap one to open it.
- A game's board, drawn as it stands, with whose move it is and the pot. Tap Watch to see the moves come in while the board is on your screen.
- A trophy or a numbered copy, with what its collector said.
- A person, with their picture, what they have made and collected, how they play, and what they have earned on Rising Tide, the ladder's rungs among it. Tap through to their work, their collection or the people who collect them.
- Leaderboards: who wins the games, who earned most this week, who collects someone's work, each with names and pictures. Tap anyone to open their card.
- Tournaments, events, campaigns and causes, as lists you can tap into.
- A message in a bottle, drafted with you. Ask Arty to help you write one. The card shows it as it would be printed, and Finish it in Bottle Drop opens the app with your words already in the composer. Nothing is dropped until you sign in there, see what it costs and drop it in yourself, and a message you had already started in Bottle Drop is kept.
- A page for grammata, drafted with you: free writing, a haiku, a tanka or a sonnet. The card shows it on paper, and Finish it in Grammata opens the composer with your title and words filled in. You choose how it looks there, see what it costs and publish it yourself. A page you had already started in grammata is kept.
- An open letter for an On The Record campaign, drafted with you. The card shows it as it will be published, and Finish it in On The Record opens that campaign's composer with your letter filled in. You pick the cause it supports, see what it costs and publish it yourself. Some campaigns decide who every letter is to; Arty tells you when that is so.
Assistants that do not show cards give you the same answer in words, with the links. On a phone, add the connector on the web or the desktop app first; it then appears in the app.
It only reads. It cannot publish, collect, spend or change anything. When you want to keep a copy of something, it gives you the link and you collect it in its app, as you always do. A draft works the same way: Arty writes it with you, and you publish it in the app.
Connecting
The address is the same for every assistant:
| Network | Address |
|---|---|
| Testnet | https://testnet.mcp.risingtide.app/api/mcp |
| Main network | https://mcp.risingtide.app/api/mcp |
In Claude (on the web or in the desktop app): open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, give it a name such as Rising Tide and paste the address. It asks for no sign-in.
In other assistants: look for "custom connector", "MCP server" or "add a tool by URL", and paste the same address.
Opening the address in a browser shows the same instructions.
