App Rail
The App Rail - cross-app navigation listing the apps on the protocol and which of them are open to you.
The App Rail is the left-side navigation in Your Profile. It lists the apps on the protocol in one place, and shows which of them are open to you.
What the App Rail shows
The rail is the catalog of apps, and each one is in one of three states for you:
| State | What it means | What you see |
|---|---|---|
| Open | Anyone can use it, no access needed | A normal icon you can tap |
| Unlocked | It needs access and you have it | A normal icon you can tap |
| Locked | It needs access and you do not have it yet | A greyed icon with a lock, which does not open |
Access comes from your invite and from your achievements, never from having visited an app. Some locked apps are not shown to you at all until they open to you. How recently you used an app only decides the order.
You can hide or show individual apps yourself from Settings > Rail preferences, or from the + at the foot of the rail, which opens the full catalog. A locked app cannot be added until it opens to you.
Navigation within Your Profile
The App Rail links across apps. The top navigation bar within Your Profile links between sections such as Profile, Made and Collected, Earnings, Invites, and Settings.
Other protocol apps
Lightweight apps like Events Calendar have a top bar instead of the App Rail. They link back to Your Profile for account and collection management.
