Earnings

Track what you earn on Rising Tide - sats (real Bitcoin) that land in your balance automatically whenever someone collects your work.

Your earnings page shows what you have earned from your published work - and it lands in your balance automatically, the moment each collect happens.

How earning works

When someone collects a piece that lists you as a contributor, your share of the price is sent to your wallet in the same transaction that mints their edition. You never request a payout. What you earn is sats - real Bitcoin - and it joins your spendable balance, which you can turn around and spend collecting other people's work. For the whole loop, see How Earning Works.

You can earn in any of these roles:

  • Creator - you published the work
  • Collaborator - the creator named you on the split
  • Template Artist - you designed the visual template a piece uses
  • Sticker Artist - you made a sticker element a piece uses

What the page shows

  • Your total earned, all time
  • Earnings broken down by piece
  • Recent payments, each with a link to the on-chain record

No withdrawal step

Earnings arrive in your wallet at the moment of each collect - no payout cycle, no withdrawal, no holds. It is your balance the instant it is earned. When your balance grows into something worth protecting, you can move it into savings you hold yourself - see From earnings to savings.

Tax and reporting

Rising Tide does not provide tax reporting. You are responsible for tracking and reporting your own earnings; the full transaction history is on the public record and readable in any block explorer.
