Events Calendar
Discover and attend events - browse freely, reserve a spot or buy tickets when you're ready.
Events Calendar is a public-first way to discover what's happening. Browse every upcoming event without an account - you only sign in the moment you reserve a spot or buy a ticket.
Why events here are different
A typical ticketing platform takes a fee on every ticket, holds the proceeds until after the event, controls the attendee list, and decides what can and cannot be sold. If it goes down or changes its terms, your event goes with it.
Events are the newest shape on Rising Tide, and no event has been run on the calendar yet. It is built to work like this: the event is its own on-chain record, and tickets are numbered on-chain artifacts, not barcodes in someone's database. The attendee list belongs to the organizer and is visible across every app on the protocol. Each ticket sale is paid by the contract in the same transaction, with no platform escrow. If this app shut down tomorrow, the event record, its tickets and its history would remain on the chain.
For attendees, that means your ticket is real, durable, and yours - not just a confirmation email.
