Reserving Tickets
How to RSVP and purchase event tickets in Rising Tide Events Calendar.
Reserving a ticket gives you a permanent, verifiable record of your spot - signed by your wallet and confirmed on the network, not a line in someone's database.
How to reserve a ticket
- Open an event detail page
- Click Reserve Ticket (or RSVP for free events)
- Sign in if you have not already, with Privy or your own wallet
- Review the ticket details and price
- Confirm and sign with your wallet
- Your ticket lands in My Tickets
In-person and online events
An event listing tells you which it is before you reserve.
In person shows a venue and address on the listing and on the ticket itself. If the organizer has not booked a venue yet, the address may be blank when you reserve and fill in later - the date is the commitment, the room is not always settled.
Online shows a platform and a link. The link is public: it is stored openly with the event, so a ticket is your record of attending rather than the thing that lets you in. Some organizers put the real joining step behind their own check; if so, they will tell you where.
Free events
Free events use RSVP - there's no ticket price. Your spot is recorded and confirmed on-chain exactly like a paid ticket, so it's just as durable and just as yours.
Paid events
Paid events require a purchase. The price is shown before you confirm, and it's distributed to the organizer and any other contributors automatically the moment your ticket is reserved.
Transaction confirmation
Transactions usually confirm within seconds, and your ticket appears in My Tickets as soon as one does. Final settlement on the underlying network takes a few minutes but does not hold up your ticket.
Cancellation
Cancelling a ticket is not supported yet. You can, however, transfer a ticket to someone else from My Tickets.
