Drop Four
Seven columns, discs fall to the lowest open row, four in a line takes the pot.
Drop Four is played on an upright board, seven columns wide and six rows tall. Two players take turns dropping a disc into a column, and gravity decides where it lands: the lowest open row in that column. Four in a line, across, down or on the diagonal, wins the pot.
It opens to you on the ladder, after Tic-Tac-Boom: play your first match there and Drop Four opens. See Achievements.
A drop
The player in the first seat drops first, and the seats take turns after that. On your turn you pick a column, not a square - the disc falls as far as it can. A full column takes no more discs. Every drop is yours, signed by you, and recorded the moment it lands.
If all forty-two spaces fill with no line of four, the match is a draw and each player takes back half the pot. How a Lobby Works covers the draw and what happens when a match stalls.
Why there are no bombs here
Tic-Tac-Boom lets someone watching blow a mark off the board. Drop Four does not, and cannot: a disc pulled out of a column would leave a gap with discs hanging above it, which is a board the game has no rule for. So a Drop Four match is only ever the two players and their drops, and you can watch one without anything to throw.
When you win
The winner claims the pot and keeps the match as a trophy: a picture of the final board with the winning four picked out, who they beat, the pot and the date. See Trophies.
