Grammata
A distraction-free writing platform where writers publish permanent, ownable pages and readers collect numbered editions.
Grammata is a writing platform built on Rising Tide Protocol. Writers sit down with a blank page, type, choose a visual style, and publish. Their page is permanent, owned by them, and discoverable. Readers collect numbered editions and support writers directly.
The platform is intentionally minimal: title, subtitle, content. No formatting toolbar. No feeds, no likes, no algorithm. The blockchain is invisible - the writer never thinks about smart contracts, the reader never thinks about NFTs.
Why Grammata is different
Every other writing platform makes a deal with you: post your work here, and the platform owns the relationship. They host the work, they pick what your readers see, they take a cut of whatever you earn, and the day they change the rules, your archive moves with the platform - or vanishes. Your readers' emails are on their list, not yours.
Grammata is a thin client over open infrastructure. The platform does not host your pages - they live on a public network. The platform does not run the payment - readers pay you directly. The platform does not own your audience - the people who collect your work are visible to you across every app on the network. If Grammata folds, your pages remain readable, your collectors keep their copies, and your earnings history is intact.
The shorthand for creators: your pages are yours. Your readers are yours. Your earnings are direct. None of those are platform promises - they are properties of how the work is stored and how the money moves.

How it differs from social media

|---|---|
| Feed ranked by an algorithm | The Wall - chronological, searchable, sortable |
| Likes and follower counts | Numbered editions kept by real collectors |
| Content owned by the platform | Content owned by you, permanent on-chain |
| Ad revenue, creator fund payouts | Direct payment from reader to writer on every collect |
| Account can be banned, content removed | Pages exist independently of Grammata |
Where it lives
| Surface | URL |
|---|---|
| Open testnet | testnet.grammata.app |
Grammata runs on the open testnet, like everything else on the protocol today.

Getting paid
