The Asset Studio
The Asset Studio is where artists author and manage their Series of Templates and Stickers - submit for review, go live, and earn per-asset royalties on every collect.
The Asset Studio is the home for your visual work on Rising Tide. It is a focused asset studio - the place where you author your Templates and Stickers, organize them into a Series, submit them for review, and watch them earn once they go live.
A studio for assets, not a general hub
The Asset Studio does one thing well: it is where visual assets are made and managed. You are not juggling pages, events, or collections here - you are building the templates and stickers that other creators reach for. Everything in the studio is oriented around authoring a clean, reusable asset and getting it into creators' hands.
Series, Templates, and Stickers
Your work in the studio is organized into three ideas:
- Series - a brand set that groups your assets under one identity. A Series is your body of work: a coherent look that creators come to recognize. You might run one Series or several, each with its own feel.
- Templates - the visual designs creators apply to their pages, tickets, and other work. A template frames someone else's writing or event. More on templates.
- Stickers - individual visual elements creators layer on top of a piece. Additive accents rather than the whole frame. More on stickers.
A Series holds any number of Templates and Stickers. Together they are the catalog you offer to every creator on the protocol.
From draft to live
Every asset moves through a simple lifecycle in the studio:
- Author. You design a Template or Sticker inside the studio and save it as a draft. Iterate as long as you like - a draft is private to you.
- Submit. When an asset is ready, you submit it for review. This hands it to the protocol team to check it holds up as a reusable asset.
- Review. The team either approves the asset or sends it back with notes. If it comes back, you refine and resubmit.
- Live. Once approved, your asset becomes available across the protocol. From that moment, any creator can apply it to their work.
Nothing goes live by accident. Review is the gate between your draft and the creators who will build on it.
Per-asset royalties and earnings
Each asset carries its own royalty. You set the rate on a Template or Sticker when you author it, and that rate travels with the asset - independent of everything else in your Series. A signature template can carry a different rate than a simple accent sticker.
Once an asset is live, you earn every time it is used in a published product. A writer applies your template to a page, an organizer uses it on a ticket, a reader collects any of those pieces - each collect routes your share to you automatically, on chain, in the same transaction. Because earnings are per asset, you can see exactly which templates and stickers are carrying your Series.
The studio is where you set all of this up once. The protocol handles the rest - no invoices, no follow-up, no per-deal negotiation.
Getting started
Authoring in the Asset Studio requires an Early Adopter or Admin account. Reach out to the Rising Tide team to get access, start your first Series, and bring your Templates and Stickers to the protocol.
Access gates submitting, not drawing. Drawing a Template has everything you need to have a finished file ready - including a starter you can download now and the checks the Studio will run on it.
